The Role

The Dean Trust is seeking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic Head of PSHE to join our dedicated team at Abraham Moss Community School, Crescent Road, Crumpsall, Manchester, M8 5UF.

The core purpose of the role will be to:

  • Lead and develop the PSHE curriculum across KS3 and KS4
  • Lead and develop the PSHE curriculum across our tutor and assembly programme
  • Work closely with colleagues to support the wider school community
  • Foster positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff
  • Play a crucial role in shaping responsible and informed citizens
  • Inspire pupils as a Head of PSHE, ensuring they develop emotional well-being, resilience, and a strong understanding of social issues.

Key responsibilities:

  • A qualified teacher with experience in delivering PSHE.
  • A strong Head of PSHE or aspiring middle leader with leadership potential.
  • The ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities
  • A flexible and adaptable attitude to meet the evolving needs of the school.
  • A passion for student well-being and personal development.
