The Dean Trust are looking for a qualified and enthusiastic Teacher of Physical Education to teach PE at Key Stages 3 and 4, working as a member of the PE team and demonstrating good practice in sustaining standards of achievement. The position will be based at Abraham Moss Community School, Crescent Road, Crumpsall, Manchester, M8 5UF.
You will work closely with the PE team in all professional matters to develop schemes of work that are differentiated, to ensure that there are effective teaching strategies to give access to the curriculum for all pupils, to monitor and improve the quality of teaching and learning, and to set targets and plan for improvement, development and enrichment.
A commitment to promote and deliver sports within the extra-curricular PE programme. The ability to show innovation and be pro-active in developing new areas of opportunity. Share in the general responsibility for the academic, social, personal and cultural development of pupils.
